Overview

King Salman Park is a massive urban park under development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and a centerpiece of the nation’s Vision 2030 to diversify its economy and improve quality of life.

The project is being built on the site of the former Riyadh Air Base, covering an area of over 16 square kilometers, making it one of the largest urban parks in the world. It is designed as a multifaceted destination, not just a green space, with a blend of nature, culture, sports, and residential facilities.

The park will feature over 11 square kilometers of green spaces with a million trees, an arts complex, museums, sports facilities, an amusement park, a water park, and a golf course. It will also include residential units, hotels, and retail spaces.
